Last week’s set up at Bear Mountain for the Transworld Snow Trans Am was sick. After two hours of hiking the various features and laying down some sick runs, I ended up taking 1st place in the grom division! Big thanks to Bear Mountain, Transworld, Giro, Salomon for putting on an awesome event and special thanks to my sponsors GoPro, 686, Just Chill, JLab Audio, Kind Snacks, Shock Doctor and Game on Jerky. Can’t wait to defend my title in 2017!
Everyone at The Flyin’ Filipino would like to thank all those who attended FPAC22 last weekend in San Pedro, CA! It was awesome to meet all of you and appreciate all the support you have shown me and my brand. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait for next year’s festival (wherever it might be!).
Thanks again and please start prayin’ for snow!
A big thank you to everyone who came by our Flyin’ Filipino booth at the Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture this past weekend in San Pedro! We met so many new friends from fellow vendors, visitors and even a celebrity stopped by our booth (see photo). El Nino is coming and they are calling for a snowy season, so I expect to see all of our new friends on the mountain!
The Flyin’ Filipino will be participating at this year’s FPAC at Pt. Fermin Park in San Pedro. The address is 807 Paseo Del Mar in San Pedro, CA. Team Flyin’ Filipino Rider, Abbey Guerrero, placed 1st in the USASA National Championships last week in Copper Mountain, Colorado in the halfpipe competition. Using a combination of straight airs and 360s, Abbey beat out the nations top 15 girls in the Ruggie Division (7 and Under) to earn the gold medal!
Exciting news here at The Flyin’ Filipino! We have pledged to donate $1.00 to the Habitat for Humanity, Philippines for each piece of merchandise sold here on our website. Please spread the word and help us raise money for a great cause. As always, thank you all for your support!
Here is a short video that my dad put together of me doing some jumps and boxes.
